A PLEASURE TO SEE SUCH DIVERSITY AND INNOVATION!

:iconannakirsten: here -

Thank you, all of you, who took part in these two challenges in March.  We loved receiving your submissions, and enjoyed the diversity in style and colour.  Thank you too, those of you who shared your parameters with us all.  This is a great way to enable others to get a start in UF, or to try out a new style in the program.  In this journal I will feature the most popular choices from amongst the admins, and hope you will enjoy the results!  Please know though, that everyone's work was highly appreciated - you are all winners.  Links to the gallery folders are given beneath the choices in each of the two scroll boxes.

Please feel free to use this badge if you have had your work featured by this group!

WIND AND STORM

We had a feeling this might not be such a popular challenge, as it isn't always easy to depict this kind of thing unless you're into abstract art, at least in part.  We had 18 very interesting entries though, and between us, we have come up with some choices and comments to feature here.

COLOURS OF THE OCEAN CHALLENGE

Personally I love this colour palette, and it was an enormous pleasure to see the submissions come rolling in, resulting in 29 contributions to this challenge.  I understand that many people found this challenge inspiring too, and that's always a good thing!  One of the biggest compliments an artist can receive is when someone else says they have tried to emulate your own style, and what you did inspired them to do so!
